On Thursday 21st March at 8pm I will be telling the story of Grainne O’Malley, the Pirate Queen, together with some autobiographical tales at Tullycarnet Library in East Belfast as part of the monthly Yarnspinners programme. This is a storytelling club that has been running for 28 years and it is always a good night. There is an entrance charge of £4 that includes refreshments.

Sunday 7th April, 2019 – SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT THE STORYTELLER’S HOUSE

Following on the success of the first few events, I have begun a regular series of storytelling sessions on the first Sunday of every month from 4-6 pm at the Storyteller’s house in Glenarm. If you fancy sitting by a fire enjoying a cup of tea and listening to a few yarns or even telling one yourself or a poem or a song then come along. Just bring yourself or come with a friend. Drop me an email if you need more information, but you can also just drop in. This is a free event but donations are welcome to cover costs and help build up a fund to organise more storytelling events in and around Glenarm for adults and children.
